THE SPIRIT SERIES

Spirit 500

A two-burner grill with control knobs on the right-hand side and an open cart.

The heat indicator was mounted on the right side of the grill hood.

Weber 900

A three-burner grill with side mounted control knobs and temperature gauge and has an open cart.


Spirit E-210

2007-2008

Introduced in the Weber line-up in 2007.

They had side mounted controls.

2009-2012

In 2009, the doors were powder-coated black (vs the stainless steel).

It takes the same parts as the 2007 model (above)

In 2013, Two Burner Grill with control knobs moved to the front.

The 220 Model includes a side burner.

2013-2017

In 2013, the Spirit Series moved the control knobs to the front of the grill.

These 300 series have three main burners. The 320 has a side burner.

THE GENESIS SERIES

Genesis I - IV & 1000-5000

These grills had wood slot side shelves. The Genesis 1000 had three burners and 13 flavorizer bars.

Genesis Silver A / B / C

Older Silver Grills had an open cart (no doors and first generation did not say silver on the emblem. Silver was embossed on the handle.)

2004 - Silver was placed on the emblem. These grills had a center mounted hood thermometer. They had plastic shelves on the left side of the grill and control knobs to the right.

2005 The Silver series had a closed cart, plastic left side shelf and a center mounted heat thermometer. The “A” has 2 stainless steel burners. The “ B” and “C “- Three Burner Grill. The difference between the B and the C is the B had no side-burner and the C included side burner attached to the right of the control panel

Genesis E/S - 310 & 320

2007-2010

Control Knobs were on the Side.

The 310 featured 3 main burners and the 320 has 3 main burners and a side burner

2007: E/S 310, 320 - The E has an emailed hood with an enclosed cart with corresponding painted steel doors with stainless steel trim, porcelain cast iron cooking grates and porcelain steel flavorizer bars while the S has a stainless hood, stainless cooking grates and stainless flavorizer bars.

2008,2009E/S/EP 310, 320 – The EP was a special edition grill that had an enameled hood but included stainless cooking grids and Flavorizer bars. This series was offered to specialty alliance dealers.

2011-2016

Control Knobs were moved to the Front

E has a colored enameled hood with cast iron cooking grids and porcelain flavorizer bars

EP “Special Edition” has a colored enameled hood with stainless cooking grids and stainless flavorizer bars

S Stainless hood with stainless cooking grids and stainless flavorizer bars

 


Genesis II & II LX

2007-2010

The Gen II Brought back the open cart. This was the first time that the Geneses Series was offered in 4 different burner configurations (2, 3, 4 and 6).

The Summit Platinum A4 has 4 stainless steel burners, 44,000 BTU-per-hour input, and 700 sq. in. total cooking area.

The Summit Platinum B4 has all of the same great features as the A4, plus a 12,000 BTU-per-hour input side burner. 

The Summit Platinum C4 has the same great features as the B4, plus a 12,000 BTU-per-hour input side burner, stainless steel smoker box, and a dedicated 8,000 BTU-per-hour input stainless steel smoker burner.

The Summit Platinum A6 has 6 stainless steel burners, 44,000 BTU-per-hour input, and 700 sq. in. total cooking area.

The Summit Platinum B6 has all of the same great features as the A6, plus a 12,000 BTU-per-hour input side burner.

The Summit Platinum C6 has the same great features as the B6, plus a 12,000 BTU-per-hour input side burner, stainless steel smoker box, and a dedicated 8,000 BTU-per-hour input stainless steel smoker burner.

2007 – 420 & 450 - Only offered in stainless steel hoods

2008 - 420, 450, 470 - The Summit 420, 450 were offered in both an E (Enameled) and S (Stainless)

Summit 450 (2007, 2008) - Four main stainless burners, plus a flush-mounted side burner, infrared rear-mounted rotisserie burner, and a dedicated smoker burner

Summit 470 (2008) – Includes all the features of the 450 but also has a dedicated sear burner
