Why CHOOSE OUR Sustainable British Lumpwood Charcoal:
It’s all About the Flavour
Sustainable British Lumpwood is made using our emission friendly retort at Ridge Farm, West Sussex. It is heated and oxygen-deprived in one of our emission charcoal retorts powered by farm waste wood. Any charcoal we import is also from managed woodlands. Our lumpwood is from a natural mix of our locally sourced hardwoods from managed woodlands similar to our firewood logs, such as birch, beech, ash and oak. The outcome is a delightful 'high heat' flavour-infusing, sustainable and natural charcoal product. We have a wide variety of other charcoal products to meet every customer’s need plus various types of Smokin’ chips to add more flavour to your food.
